"When I was just a pup, my uncle told me stories of an everlasting city of wealth and knowledge, where our wildest dreams come true. He'd tell me how we'd take to the colored skies, dive into the depths of the oceans, and move the very ground beneath our feet in search for this dream, but all we'd find were empty skies, ruins and sleeping giants.
Looking back I wonder if my uncle told me these stories hoping that I'd aspire to be an adventurer like him, to continue his quest for the truth, but I never really believed in those fairy tales. Instead, I traveled the world my own way; as a bounty hunter. From country to country, it's my job to take down criminals and hell raisers for profit.
Now my travels have led me to the door step of Northsage, and the targets assigned to me by a shifty government organization, are all fanatic believers of those legends my uncle told me about. More and more I begin to realize that this legend may be more than just mere fantasy, and this 'dream' we all crave so dearly could very well be a nightmare.
Some say it's just lost city. Some say it's treasure. Some say it's heaven. As I've grown older, I've started to find my own reason to believe in those fairy tales. Perhaps it doesn't even exist, but I believe knowing whether or not it does could be the only thing that could save us all from bringing Aurora to ruins."
